Virginia City is the largest historic district in the United States. Founded in 1859 upon the discovery of the Comstock Lode, the richest silver ore discovered to date, Virginia City became the cosmopolitan rival of San Francisco. Millionaires were made overnight in the wild mining stock speculation of the 1860s. Today tourists enjoy the Old West atmosphere, picturesque buildings, most built after the 1875 Great Fire, and the wide open spaces of Nevada.
The B Street House features three themed guest rooms, all upstairs, with a library and parlor downstairs for guests' use. Out side there is off-street parking and a garden area featuring native and Victorian plants.
Rates: $99 to $139 We offer mid-week discounts, and have several special packages like our "Stay-a-Little-Longer" or our "Romantic Getaway".
