bed and breakfast in Rosbeg (meaning small peninsula) prides itself in providing first class guest accommodation. Located on the shores of Clew Bay and just a few minutes walk from Westport Harbour, with its famous restaurants and pubs. Take in the splendour of Croagh Patrick, Ireland's Holy Mountain, and the islands in Clew Bay as you make your way to Rosmo House. Set in mature gardens, our Bed and Breakfast Accommodation is just off the scenic coast road leading to natural beauty spots such as Croagh Patrick, Clare Island (by ferry), Louisburgh and Connemara. On the outskirts of the heritage town of Westport in County Mayo, guests can enjoy breathtaking scenery together with the life, colour and pretty architecture that characterises Westport.

Our Breakfast room looks out on the West of Ireland countryside. Enjoy a hearty full traditional Irish cooked breakfast freshly cooked and served to order. Lighter continental options are also available and vegansvegans, vegetarians and thoes with special dietary needs can be accommondated by prior request.
Guests are invited to relax in our landscaped gardens or stretch out in our spacious TV lounge.

Bedrooms are available from 3pm but may occassionally be available earlier. If you are arriving early and would like to leave your luggage before going out to enjoy your day, this can be arranged and your luggage will be taken to your room to await your return.

There is a plethora of restaurants and pubs offering bar food to choose from, open all year, catering for all tastes from seafood specialities and fine dining to pub grub. Most of our restaurants are child friendly and offer 'early bird' specials to suit family requirements.We recommend Sol Rio restaurant on Bridge Street and The Creel at Westport Quay for particularly good food and ambience. The Asgard and Sheebeen Pubs are just a few minutes stroll from Rosmo House, along the coast road. You can enjoy pub grub, the atmosphere and the chat in these unique local Irish pubs on the seashore. For a special treat, we recommend The Quay Cottage in Westport Harbour, specializing in imaginative seafood dishes and attractive marine decor.

Directions
FROM WESTPORT:
Directions: Arriving into Westport, join the one way traffic over the bridge and up through the town centre (Bridge street). Stay in the left lane. You will see the town 'Clock' tower in front of you. The road joins a T-junction at the Clock. Stay in the right lane and go right. Indicate left and get into the left lane. You will see the Octogan monument, with St Patrick's statue on the top, in front of you. Follow road to left and stay on this road, the R335 towards Westport Harbour (avoid going straight up steep street). Keep McCarthy's Bar on your right. 'Absolutely Pottery' will be on your left. Continue on this road for 1 mile. You will pass 'Cottons' Laundry on your left, pass Westport Woods Hotel on your right. Pass the Helm Bar on your left and then the Towers Bar & Restaurant on your right. Continue along by the seafront past Kiely's Antiques on your right. Rosmo House is approx. 500 metres from there on the right hand side at the top of a hill. You will see our sign.
