Keppel's Farmhouse is situated just 3 kms from Avoca Village, home of the famous Avoca Hand-weaving Mill and location for the BBC TV series "Ballykissangel". In the locality there are many historical sites and houses, i.e.: Avondale House and Forest Park, Powerscourt House and Gardens, Russborough House, Wicklow Gaol, Mount Usher Gardens, Wicklow Mountains National Park and Glendalough Monastic Village.
Co. Wicklow is a golfers' paradise with almost 30 golf courses around the county.
Walkers are spoiled for choice when it comes to trails and we have beautiful beaches all along the coast of Co. Wicklow.

Accommodations

Accommodation at Keppel's Farmhouse comprises five ensuite bedrooms - three doubles, two of which have queen size beds, one twin bedded room and one triple room. All have hospitality trays, multichannel TV, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
Our dining room is bright and spacious and has individual tables for our diners. We have a varied and interesting breakfast menu.
The living room is comfortable and, with plenty of seating, cosy. On chilly evenings there is a log fire where our guests can relax, read, play cards or just chat to fellow travellers.
Outside there is a large garden, with lots of garden furniture. There is plenty of space for car-parking which is free of charge to visitors.

Rooms/Suites

All rooms have shower/toilet ensuite with complimentary toiletries. All are bright and spacious with central heating, down/feather duvets, semi-orthopaedic beds, multichannel TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer and many little extras.

Directions

From N11/M11: Take EXIT NO.20, for Arklow North, off motorway. Follow signs for Arklow Town centre (R772) from roundabout. Before entering Arklow town (1km from roundabout) at LANDROVER garage, make a right turn. Drive for 5kms (3 miles) and you will find our sign on the left. We are approx. 1km off this road.

From AVOCA VILLAGE: Enter village from R752 Rathdrum/Arklow road. You will be facing Fitzgerald's Bar. Take a right at this T-junction and travel 2kms. You will see our sign on the right.
