Along the Wine Road of "Val di Mazara", settled between vineyards and olive groves which create the splendid views of Sicilian field, rises Villa Altair, a typical 18th century Sicilian Country House (called "baglio") located in an antic Wine Cellar that was restructured without change the original rural architecture of the territory, preserving all it's charm.
From the same emotion came the name of the wine produced in the house by Cantina Giglio. The "Altair" wine, made by organic farming, can also be tasted and appreciated in the Villa.
OUR ROOMS:
Villa Altair offers the possibility of staying in only five different, large and bright bedrooms with private bathrooms and that can accommodate from 1 to 4 people. The bedrooms have a great view from the country side and the ancient internal courtyard and two of then are handicap-friendly.
The rooms, cozy and charming, are in harmony with the nature that surrounds us, as each one was inspired by a typical Sicilian product that can be found in our garden: orange, Sicilian lime, grape, olive, pomegranate and the Indian fig.
Also available in the rooms: hair drier, air conditioning and TV.
The electric current throughout Italy is 220 v.

Villa Altair is in the city of Mazara del Vallo, in Trapani's province, in the western part of Sicilia. Even located on the tranquillity of the country side, just 2 km ahead, we arrive in the historical city centre.

It includes a typical sicilian breakfast, linen and towels, free private private parking, the exclusive attention of our staff that speak severa leanguages for any information and help, a wide external common area where is possible to taste our wine house, and other different services under our clients request, as transportation to and from airports , conventions with beach bars and restaurants, riding school in the neighbourhood, boat tours and fishing tourism at sea, bike, motorcycle, car and boat rental, etc.
