Comfortable and luminous apartment located in Del Principe Street within Las Letras neighbourhood, in the corner of famous Plaza Santa Ana, where you may enjoy the quiet cafes, some of them offering live music as a distinctive feature, their colourful terraces and an exquisite national and international cuisine.
In the historic Barrio de Las Letras, residence of eminent writers of the Spanish Golden Age, you will find prestigious museums like El Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia. A few minute walk from the apartment lies the Parque del Retiro, Madrid's main park and green lung, and the Madrid de los Austrias District with its Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace and Royal Theatre, which are some of the places that will impress you for its architectural beauty. Also nearby are the emblematic Puerta del Sol and the Gran Via and Alcala streets, with plenty of shops and theatres.
The modern and luxurious Hemingway Santa Ana apartment has 100 square meters and is located on the first floor of a historic building from the year 1840, used on the filming of the movie 'Talk to Her' from the internationally recognized Spanish director, Pedro Almodovar.
The apartment consists of:
o Two large balconies overlooking Del Principe Street and the Spanish Theatre.
o Large hall-dining area with an extending table.
o Fully furnished kitchen.
o Living-room with sofa bed and window with street view.
o Double bedroom with two twin beds with a small balcony with street view.
o Double bedroom with two twin beds.
o Master bedroom with queen bed with small balcony overlooking a patio.
o Full bathroom, incorporated to the master bathroom
The apartment is fully furnished with all type of household goods and kitchenware; fan, TV, DTT, DVD, radio CD, WIFI internet connection, microwave, toaster, kettle, juicer, etc..
It can comfortably fit up to 10 people: In addition to the queen bed and 4 individual beds, it has a sofa-bed with capacity for 2 people in the living-room, and 2 folding beds on wheels that can be installed in any of the rooms at your convenience.
Due to its excellent location -in the heart of Madrid's leisure and culture main area- and magnificent accessibility to all type of public transportation (Cercanias, 3 subway lines and numerous bus lines just a few minute walk), the Hemingway Santa Ana apartment is ideal for couples, families or friends to enjoy a perfect vacation.
- Special discounts for stays longer than a month
- Children under two years of age do not pay
- Minimum stay: 3 nights
- The babycot's use will have an extra charge of 50€ per stay.
The rest, plus 200€ deposit (which will be returned if the apartment is in perfect condition) may be paid in cash upon arrival or through bank transfer or paypal before arrival.
This security deposit is refunded assuming no damages, and is returned no later than 48hours after departure via bank transfer or paypal.

Check-in time conditions on arrival: 30€ extra charge for arrivals after 10:00pm and on holidays.
Directions
From the airport:
Take the subway (Line 8) with direction to Nuevos Ministerios. Get off at Nuevos Ministerios station and from there connect with the Commuter train and take any of the trains stopping at platform 8 with direction Parla or Aranjuez. Get off at Sol station and take Calle Carretas exit. Follow this street and turn left at Plaza Jacinto Benavente. Keep walking by Plaza del Angel. Continue straight ahead along calle Huertas. Turn left at calle Del Principe.
