The Barnacles Galway Apartment is located on Kirwin's Lane, a quaint little street in the heart of Galway City. It is literally just a minute's stroll from all the pubs, cafes and restaurants that you are coming to Galway for.
This modern and spacious apartment includes two comfy double bedrooms, one clean bathroom, a fully furnished lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms overlook the cobble-stone street of Kirwin's Lane making this the ideal place to spend some in this beautiful city.
The apartment is so centrally located that the entire city is on your doorstep. You have the option of exploring what Galway has to offer or spending a relaxing evening in doors.
To check in please come to Barnacles Quay Street House (10 Quay Street) and we will walk you over to the apartment.
Parking (discounted rate) only 2 minutes walk away and the train and bus station are only 5 minutes walk away
Check In Time is 3 pm / Check Out time is 10.30 am.
* Security/Damage deposit is required on check in.
* Lease form must be signed be every guest at check in.
CANCELLATION POLICY is 48 hours prior to the day of arrival.
The Bus/Train station is just 5 mins from our Hostel. Galway Bus/Train stations are located in the same depot in the City Centre so you dont have far to walk to find us. From the Bus Train/Station. Walk diagonally across Eyre Square. Turn left onto Williamsgate Street and continue straight down Shop Street. At the Kings Head pub, keep left and walk down High Street onto Quay Street. We are situated on the right and opposite the Quays Pub.
Train
There are approx 5 trains running daily between Dublin and Galway, this is the only train link from Galway City. While in Ireland, you can ring 366222 for train timetables or alternatively you can check www.irishrail.ie
Bus
There is an hourly Bus service running between Dublin;s central Bus station and Galway Bus Station. Galway is well serviced by buses all over the country, you can check timetables on www.buseireann.ie
There is a private bus company operating a direct coach service between Dublin Airport and Galway City. The coach Operator is called Citylink and their contact number is: 091 564163. Again you can check their timetables on line www.citylink.ie
Airport
Galway City is serviced by a small airport, located about 5 miles from the City Centre. There is no bus service from the airport to the city, there are ample taxis awaiting passengers. www.aerarann.ie
