A Taste Of Spain

This was more then a culinary adventure, it was an imersion into Spanish culture. you get to escape into the mountains and truly grasp what it was like to live in the past and present in Spain.
All the villagers where so warm and welcoming and hour host's Chef Esmeraldo and Laura where phenomenal. They always made sure we were comfortable and were flexible to our needs.

Looking for a unique once in a life time experince you have found it!
First the food was unbelivable. Chef Esmeraldo was amazing, we enjoyed some of the best meals I have ever experinced, and learned to cook them as well. Chef Esmeraldo was patient and able to teach the amatures (me) as well as the more advanced cooks.
Besides the fantastic food, travel to the cathedrals, history lessons from Laura and hikes top this adventure off!

Our all-inclusive tours are leisurely paced Spanish cuisine and wine experiences. Take in the tastes, culture, and history of Northern Spain while strolling the old streets of Astorga, Pozos, and Leon. Enjoy exclusive visits to unique and locally owned bodegas and vineyards in El Bierzo, visit historical sites including the Leon Cathedral, Astorga's roman ruins, Cathedral de Santa Maria de Astorga, and Antoni Gaudi's Episcopal Palace. Drop in on local textlie and pottery artisans for demonstrations of weaving and the creation of traditional earthenware .

Hands-on Cooking
Start your day like a typical Spaniard with freshly squeezed orange juice and cafe con leche, followed by a leisurely breakfast.
Learn to prepare Spanish delicacies such as Cordero Asado, Paella, Cochinillo, Gambas, Churros, Empanada de Batallon, Pulpo a la Gallega, Gazpacho, and Tapas Tradicional in a hands-on cooking with Chef Esmeraldo. (Non cooking options are available).
Feast on your creations with a selection of Spanish wines, sangria, cava, and orujo.
The afternoon may include trekking, visits to wineries, cathedrals, and castles or, if you choose, a siesta.
Village merienda, a late afternoon snack.
Chef Esmeraldo will take you to specially selected restaurants where he has created dishes based on traditional Spanish recipes, and paired them with Spanish wines.
