Our site is also our home and therefore very special to us.The land is flat for camping with stunning views to the hills and mountains whichever way you look. Our self-catering options are a little bit quirky, but all with attention to detail and comfort. We grow various vegetables, herbs and fruits, and eggs are available down the lane.
We have a large sun-terrace with loungers, tables, chairs, BBQs and parasols; we have a shared barn with sofas, DVD, gas cooker, fridge-freezer, food storage, dining table, and a small library with novels, guidebooks & maps and plenty of games. We have wifi and can re-charge your electronics.
If you want to explore the area, we have hiking guides, do escorted walks and we hire mountain bikes. We're also rock climbers so will happily introduce you to our local crags!
We are located in Serramonacesca, at about 20 km from Chieti.

Directions
We are located in Serramonacesca, at about 20 km from Chieti.
Airports: Pescara Airport, served by budget airline Ryan Air, is 32km from us. Rome, served by all major airlines, is about 200km.
Rail & Coach: Good connections to Rome and Pescara's airports and rail stations go to and from Chieti Scalo, which is 20km from us. Rail timetables can be found on www.trenitalia.com and coaches on www.arpaonline.it. (NB the coach from Rome to Chieti is far faster and cheaper than the train.)
Public Transport to Serramonacesca: not particularly frequent, but they do run to the major centres of Abruzzo. Timetables on www.arpaonline.it
Transfers: we are happy to pick up from Pescara (35€) and Chieti (25€).
Directions to Kokopelli from Bar Dello Sport, Serramonacesca (next to the bus park):
continue down the hill and away from the village in a southerly direction, going over two bridges. About a kilometre after the second bridge, look out for a yellow house on your right with a row of recycling bins opposite. The right hand turning to Contrada Garifoli is immediately round the bend. This is our lane, so take this turning.
Contrada Garifoli is a single track road, and very steep. Continue upwards for just under 1km and you will find the Kokopelli sign at the end of our driveway on the right.
