    My husband and I returned to this hotel for our anniversary. We had our wedding here 15 years ago. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay meaningful. Our suite was huge and had a view of the ocean. However, the standard room we initially saw was quite small. The hotel is beautifully decorated and everyone is helpful and friendly.

    The Grande Colonial is a lovely historic hotel with a great location in heart of the Village of La Jolla. Walking distance to many shops, gallerys and restaurants. My room was spacious and cleaan, beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable king bed. It suited my needs and I would definitely stay here again.

    We had a lovely large room with a view of the pool. the staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. it felt like an quality vintage hotel experience.
