I was luckey enough to find this place on a last minute trip to South Lake Tahoe. The hot tubs on the roof are incredible, and that alone would bring me back. The views are breath taking, and the staff was very friendly. They also had a convenient little store in the club house to stock up on the essentials. I definitely hope to make it back here sometime soon. If I'm ever in the Lake Tahoe area again, I will be staying here.

The ridge offered everything i was looking for. First and foremost was the close proximity to Stagecoach ski lift. About a stones throw. Great skiing, no lift lines (weekends included). Best part was the rooftop hot tub surrounded by snow. Spacious room with all you need. Good housekeeping and staff. I will return.

This hotel is actually a timeshare with all sorts of amenities to please every traveler. There is a ski lift connecting the resort to the Heavenly Ski Resort at Lake Tahoe. The elevation of the Ridge Tahoe Resort is 8,800 feet, which places it 2,600 feet above Lake Tahoe and 4,500 feet above the Carson Valley in Nevada, both of which are visible. The views are breathtaking.
The resort features numerous indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, a luxurious spa, fine dining, community activities, tennis, racket ball, a health club. The rooms are beautifully furnished with Sleep Number beds.
Time share resort for skiers, skip it for anything else.

First room was sealed up and 100 degrees. Opened the shade to be greeted by a guy cooking hamburgers on the deck outside and a view of the parking lot beyond.
No lobby, no place to go with steep terrain. Probably great for skiers. Views when available were of peaks and Gardnerville, Nevada. Better name would be Ridge Near Tahoe.
For a few bucks more I could have done much better.
No free internet, no close restaurants. We switched rooms for a mountain view which was the only positive aspect of the stay.
