Nice place to stay especially for an extended vacation. Close to a lot of great shopping, restaurants and the beach. Pool was fun but cold, not heated. Rooms were very clean, I'm horribly picky and can always find something, this place had me feeling comfortable to walk without any slippers. Pillows were flat and hard but bed was ok.

Every experience at the hotel was wonderful. From the moment we stepped out of the car, the customer service was excellent. The hotel tower we stayed in was very new and clean. Also, very spacious. The hotel was very conveniently located. Many of the places including restaurants we were able to walk to. Overall, a wonderful stay- we didn't want to leave at the end of the week!

In June 2009 my wife and I stayed at GW for 4 nights after 3 nights at Lagoon Tower (both one-bedroom); we still like Lagoon Tower better. (Actually we love Lagoon Tower.) The unit in GW is brand new with much nicer, and of course updated, decors and furniture, but it is much smaller; even the hallway is much narrower I think its only 5 feet wide. The nice thing is that the washer and dryer are in the unit, so it is much more convenient. We only brought 2 changes and did laundry almost everyday; although these smaller machines take a long time to wash and dry. In addition, Lagoon Tower is an ocean-front building while GW is not, therefore not too many units can actually have ocean view, not even partial ocean view. In sum, GW is very nice, but its got its flaws.
