The only negative would be the lack of parking. The $12.00 nightly fee gets you into the lot but on three or four nights the only spots were in the employee lot a block or two away. Overall a great property convenient to downtown Long Beach and the cruise ship terminals. I would reccommend to friends and family.

The hotel lived up to the "Marriott" hotel brand. My top priority is always cleanliness and sanitation. The facilities and ammenities were excellent and hotel was very clean. The free breakfast offered many delicious and healthy choices. My family enjoyed access to the walkway by the bay and the beautiful view of the Queen Mary at night. Surprisingly, there was a BBQ area available for use by guests. Upon inquiry, we found out that we could access free bus transportation to downtown if we walked to the bus stop which was close by. Hotel also close to a good restaurant (The Reef, I think it was) where we enjoyed great steaks. Only con: parking not included. Overall wonderful stay! Would stay there again.

The staff was both helpful and friendly. The room was clean and offered us everything we needed for the two days spent there, the kitchen is very useful when traveling with kids. We did find that the available parking space was limited, and if you aren't familiar with the area, getting back around to find the hotel is a challenge. Otherwise, it was a very nice place that I would recommend and likely return to for future stays in the area.

The hotel at first appears great, it has a very nice design and it is new construction and the gorgeous vista of the waterfront really makes you think you arrived on some kind of oasis. HOLD ON. The internet was down off and on. One side of the hotel faces the waterfront, but the other side, I cannot understand while it is legal to pump oil next to humans living in temporary residence. PUMPING OIL across the street is HORRIBLE and people are so ignorant that they do not even know how oil production affects human health. I seriously hope somebody gets SUED when those workers end up with cancer or respiratory problems.
Also, there is no restaurant in there.
