Blue Harbor House is located in Camden, where the mountains meet the sea. Camden is also known as "the jewel of the Maine Coast". In Camden Village and the surrounding area indulge on a 2-hour day sail on Penobscot Bay (we recommend the Schooner Surprise), hike the Camden Hills and have a picnic lunch on the top of Mt. Battie with views of Penobscot Bay and islands below. Visit museums, go antiquing, boutique shopping, wonderful restaurants, local crafts and art.

Blue Harbor House is a classic village inn located on Elm Street in Camden. The inn is a New England Cape style home that was built around 1810. The inn has 10 guest rooms, all decorated differently in a country style. There is a large front porch with rocking chairs for guests to enjoy and a large back yard with patio area. The village of Camden is just a short walk from the inn's flower gardens.

The inn is famous not only for it's wonderful breakfasts but also for our Down East lobster feast - a dinner service offered to guests of the inn only, by reservation. Dinner service is four-course and is served at 7 PM each evening. The cost is $35 per person.

All rooms in the inn are decorated differently in a country style. All rooms are air-conditioned, have a private bath and have a telephone. Some rooms have a canopy bed, some have a gas fireplace, some with whirlpool tub or antique soak tub. The suites in the Carriage House have a private entrance.

From the South: Take Exit 6A off the Maine Turnpike to Interstate 295, which joins Interstate 95 just north of Portland, Maine. A few miles north of Freeport, take Exit 22, "Coast Route 1, Brunswick". Continue north on Route 1 for 1 1/2 hours and continue into Camden. The Blue Harbor House is on your left as your come into town.

From the North: Follow Route 1 south to Camden and continue through the center of town. As you start up the hill at the southern end of town, the Blue Harbor House is on your right.
