Kiwi Campervans LTD provide modern and quality vehicles for the individual traveller with a fleet of 2-, 3- and 4- berth campervans & motorhomes. Our service includes unlimited Kms, free airport transfer, one way hire or return, freephone nationwide support. Our depots are conveniently located near Auckland and Christchurch AP. Sunny Nelson is the base of Kiwi Campervans and we deliver to Picton ferry terminal, too. On our little deer farm we offer B&B for up to 7 people. we are a small family enterprise and our aim is individual and professional service. We are experienced travellers ourselves and like to present our vehicles to our and your satisfaction. To familiarise you with your hired motorhome we will explain and show you the full working at pick-up in English, German or French. We can also help you to plan the best possible travel route according to your time table as well as with ferry bookings and other reservations.
Our vans are fully equipped and self catering and we provide propper bedding and bath towels, wine glasses as well as a first aide kit, torchlight, illustrated AA road atlas and camp ground lists.
On request we can supply: baby seats, fishing rods, tents and back packs, camping gear, ham radio equippment and cellular phones, bycicles

Our speciality are long term bookings with very good discounts. We speak German, English and French and we are flexible, ie. pick-up at NSN AP or bus terminal around the clock possible. Does the inventory of the van lack anything? We will help you out in no time! Heavy or bulky luggage can be kept in our store or send to your place of drop off so you don't need to carry it with you during your vacation. We can arrange guided tours as well as bookings for inland flights, the ferry, any bus or train rides, like the Trans Alpine Express - known as one of the most spectacular train rides of the world (from CHC to the West Coast / Greymouth).

Minimum age of all drivers is 21 years and 3 years driving experience; national Aus, SA, USA & Europ. or international permit of drivers are requested, 2 drivers maximum.
A deposit of 300 $ is requested to secure the booking and the balance for the payment of hire and other reservations is due 30 days prior to pick-up of the vehicle by cheque or credit card. We accept Master Card, Visa and American Express.

Our vehicles are available prior to bookings. B&B and farm stay is available all year around.

We are specialized in long term discount starting from 21 days of hire. B&B available at pick-up and drof off of the van with us in Nelson. We offer farm stay for any length of time on our little deer farm.

If you are looking for a place to 'get away from it all' and want to relax in a soothing environment, if you want to enjoy a beautifull scenery in a private setting, if you would like to enjoy breakfast (with farm fresh eggs, home made bread and jam) on the verandah, overlooking the Tasman Bay towards Nelson - you may find with us just what you need.
If you are looking for a safe and relaxed environment for your children or if you can't leave your pet 'home alone' - no problem, all four and two-legged family members are welcome with us.
On request we can supply full catering for a fair price.

How to find us:
comeing from Nelson / Richmond towards Motueka / Abel Tasman NP turn left into the Moutere Highway off the Coastal HWY. Follow the road into the Moutere Hills and over the Moutere Saddle; as soon as the road starts decending again, please take the first road to your right (=Old Coach Road). The first road off Old Coach Road to your left is Carlyon Road, where we are.

Down at the intersection Hwy / Old Coach Road is a green sign with white letters: B&B, Backpackers and up on intersection Carlyon Road / Old C.R. is another sign. Simply follow these signs; they leed to our place, we have the B&B!
