Everything within the canal area is not more than a 20-30 minute walk from the house. And if you are tired of walking, there are plenty of trams to take you anywhere within the city.

Map & Directions
Take the train from the Airport to the Central Station (not any other Amsterdam station). In front of the station there are three trams you can take: tram 16, 24 or 25.
Get out at the stop Heinekenplein. (The Heineken Brewery). Go to the right into a street called: Jacob van Campenstraat.
Walk straight on, until you reach a bridge; then turn left before the bridge, cross two small streets, you are there. It is the house on the corner: Ruysdaelkade number 75.
