As well as the diversity of arts and crafts in the local shops of the old quarter and market, the new Palau (theatre) offers a variety of plays, classical music and opera. There are cafes, bars and restaurants that cater to a wide variety of international tastes.

This is the perfect location from which to visit the many charming pueblos and towns in the surrounding area.
The activities available include hiking, golf, sailing, scuba diving, water skiing, rock climbing, windsurfing, swimming, snorkelling, hang-gliding, jet skiing, course fishing, go carting, safari park, cycling, bungee jumping, bird watching and horse riding.

Marina Alcosta is situated opposite Alteas’ harbour and yatch club. This two bedroom fully self-contained apartment is on the ground floor of a two storey well-maintained block, there is a swimming pool and garden, the beach is within a few seconds walk. Marina Alcosta is ideal for all amenities, close to shops, supermarkets and good restaurants. The bus and train services are very reliable and comfortable, with services from Alicante to Madrid. There is a ferry service from nearby Denia to Ibiza. Terra Mitica and Aqualandia water theme parks are within 30 minutes drive and there are a number of golf courses in the vicinity. Visits to the many traditional Spanish pueblos are well worth while.
