*What To Do in Antalya?
Antalya offers a number of activities relevant to most travellers. There are rafting tours, traditional Turkish Bath/Hamam's, English cinemas, monthly Turkish classes for foreigners at TOMER, dance and sport centers (Dance classes like; Salsa, Samba, Belly Dance, Tango, etc.), internet cafe's, book shops, boat and yacht tours, billiards, bowling halls, water parks and daily tours (Perge, Aspendos, Termessos, Waterfalls etc.), an array of shopping opportunities, including a daily Bazaar.
There is an international airport located in Antalya as well as many bus stations, making it easy to travel to other cities around Turkey.
For our guests coming to Antalya by plane, we have a transfer service from the airport to our pansiyon in return for some cost. For more information about the transfer, please contact us directly and give us your flight details.
From the bus station (in Turkish Otogar), take bus number 93 (it's a public bus, its written Terminal on it). You can get off after Mc Donald's (before Starbuck's) at bus stop number 587. If you miss this stop, get off at the next bus stop number 742 by the football stadium. Enter from Hadrian's Gate (if you got off the bus by the stadium, walk back towards Hadrian's gate) and walk into the Old City as far as Hesapci, Street which is about 400 metres straight ahead from Hadrian's Gate down towards the sea. On the way, you will pass The Broken Minaret (in Turkish Kesik Minare), Sabah Pansiyon is just 100 metres after that. If you cannot find your way to our pansiyon, just call us and we will help you.
By Tramway ;
A new tramline can bring you from the bus station to the city center. It is located directly across the bus station. Tickets CANNOT be purchased on the tram, they must be purchased at the ticket office by the station (ticket office opens at 8am and closes at 7pm). You must buy a card, 1 card costs 5 Turkish Liras, 1 way tram ride costs 1.70 Turkish Liras
To get to the old city, you must get off at the exit nearest to the Hadrian's Gate. It is the ISMETPASA Station by the PTT(post office), comes across a second tramline and you see many doner kebap restaurants. From there, walk south (away from the clock tower) towards Hadrian's Gate. Walk into the Old City as far as Hesapci Street which is about 400 metres straight ahead from Hadrian's Gate down towards the sea. On the way, you will pass The Broken Minaret (in Turkish Kesik Minare) and Sabah Pansiyon is just 100 metres after that.
There are time tables at the Tram Stations.
You can get a free shuttle service bus trough the bus company you are travelling with (you should ask for more information to the bus company you are travelling with). Free shuttle service bus located right across where the bus leaves you. (It is opposite the taxi station). You must instead shuttle service driver to leave you in downtown at the Hadrian's Gate (in Turkish 'Uckapilar'). They mostly try to leave you somewhere else where they want, so make sure to get of at the Hadrian's Gate. they all pass by this gate. You should enter trough this gate into old city and walk about 400 metres straight ahead on the marbel street (this street called hesapci) until you see our big sign.
