We are a small intimate hostel known for our great atmosphere, around the corner from Sydney's best nightlife!
**We are a youth hostel and only accept travellers aged 18-35 years old.**
Avoid those massive, impersonal hotel-style hostels and stay with us in a small hostel offering personal service, where you can easily meet other travellers, especially if you're travelling solo. It's ideal for female solo travellers since it's safe, secure and clean. Our guests frequently tell us they don't want to leave because of our 'friendly and homely atmosphere...almost like you're staying at a friend's house'.
The Blue Parrot is a family owned and run hostel; sisters Effie and Sasha and our award-winning team create a fun vibe - we have won several awards for having the best atmosphere in Australia!
We offer free Internet and Wi-Fi, which is a big bonus since most hostels charge for it.
Our facilities include free use of the Wii Game Station, our free DVD hard drive (so you can upload movies to your laptop) and a free big-screen plasma TV with cable and DVDs. There's also free use of personal security lockers in each room, plus an awesome big courtyard - great for socialising.
