Hotel Goldener Baer is a small and cosy hotel conveniently situated in the centre of Vienna.
The famous Ring is just 100 meters from the hotel, the Votiv Church is 150 metres away and the university is only 200 metres away.
The rooms are modern and nicely furnished and all have shower and toilet, color-cable-TV (34 programs) and direct-dial-telephone with alarm clock. All rooms are equipped with sound-proof windows and a hair dryer. Some rooms provide internet access. All rooms also have a safety deposit box.
A delicious buffet breakfast is served between 7am and 11am.
The subways U1 and U4 as well as several trams stop near the Hotel Goldener Baer. If you arrive by car you can park in one of the underground car parks nearby, because any location in Vienna is within easy range by public transport.

Arrival by car
From the west-autobahn (A1): Keep heading towards the centre until you reach the Opera, then turn left and follow the Ringstrasse. Turn left again after the Votivkirche and the 4th street to the right is Tuerkenstrasse.
From the south-autobahn (A2): Keep heading towards the centre until you reach the Opera, then turn left and follow the Ringstrasse. Turn left again after the Votivkirche and the 4th street to the right is Tuerkenstrasse.
From the east-autobahn (A4): Keep heading towards the centre until you see signs for the centre. Turn left there and go straight on until you arrive at the hotel.
From the airport: Take the bus to the City-Air Terminal, then take subway line U4 to Heiligenstadt and get off at Schottenring. After that it's just a few minutes walk to our hotel.
Arrival by train
From the west station: Take subway line U3 to Erdberg and get off at Dr. Karl Renner Ring/Volkstheater. Then change to tram D which goes to Nussdorf. When you get off at Schlickgasse the hotel is just 20 meters away.
From the south station: Take tram D to Nussdorf and get off at Schlickgasse. The hotel is just 20 meters away.
