Mad Hostel is located in a 'corrala,' or a typical building in old Madrid. The building features adjoining rooms accessed by interior balconies which overhang a central courtyard or patio. The Hostel is right in the center of Madrid and only a 10 minute walk to the most well-known museums in Spain (el Prado and la Reina Sophia), the city�s main square (la Puerta del Sol), and some of the hottest nightlife in Europe.
Our hostel is unique - it is charmingly 'madrile�o' and yet has modern and new facilities! In Mad Hostel you�ll find everything necessary for a comfortable stay in Madrid. We pride ourselves on having the lowest prices in Madrid and offer rooms for 2, 4, or 6 either with a private bathroom or a shared bathroom. A free breakfast is provided every day as well as wifi. A kitchen and a beautiful terrace are also available in the hostel. We have a comfortable common room (with a pool table) and a bar that is open on the weekends to enjoy a beer or just to sit and chat.

Our nearest Metro stop is 'Ant�n Mart�n' (Line 1, light-blue)
Once you get out of the metro take Calle de la Magdalena and follow it for about 100m. Take the second street to the left (Calle del Olivar) and then immediately take the first street to the right - this is our street, Calle de la Cabeza. About 50m down the street you'll find the Mad Property on the left-hand side.
From the airport:
By subway:
Take pink line (Line 8) until the end of the line at 'Nuevos Ministerios'. Change here to the dark blue line (Line 10) and take it to 'Tribunal'. Change at Tribunal to the light blue line (Line 1) and go to 'Anton Martin'.
By taxi it costs about �30.
From Atocha train station:
By subway:
Take the light blue line (Line 1) up to 'Anton Martin'.
By taxi it costs about �6.
From Chamart�n train station:
By subway:
Take line n 10 to 'Plaza Castilla',
Change onto the light blue line (Line 1) line to 'Anton Martin'.
By taxi it costs about �15.
