Welcome to the Mediterranean Motel in Kaikoura . We are situated on the town's boundary, at 239 Beach rd, 5 minutes drive from the Whale watch station, railway station and main shopping and restaurant district . Our motel is modern (12 years old) and half our studios overlook the rugged and snowy (in winter) Kaikoura mountain ranges . We have twin single studios, Queen studios, Super King studios and Queen/Single studios . Prices vary . For families, we have 4 interconnecting units . For disabled people we have 2 access units . Each studio is tastefully decorated and feature local art on the walls . Each studio has a kitchen and en-suite bathroom . FREE Wi-Fi and satellite TV (32" LCD) and DVD players with a big complimentary DVD library in the office . Breakfast can be ordered and will be served in your room at the time you want it, at reasonable prices . We are happy to organize any activity for you, prior to your visit . Just let us know . Because we don't allow our guests to cook fish or currie dishes in the units, we offer a barbeque free of charge, so you can cook at the back of your unit, at your leasure . We have an extensive DVD library that you may borrow from . Each unit has a DVD player . If you have your own movies on memory stick, you can use an USB port on the TV to watch your movie . We offer a complimentary daily newspaper . Must be ordered by 7pm . Disabled facilities . Pick-up in the afternoon from the railway station or bus stop can be arranged when making your booking .
