Please note that the rates given on this site do not include breakfast. Our all-you-can-eat continental buffet brekkie costs Eur3.70. You don't need to reserve breakfast, just come around to the reception in the morning if you're hungry.
We have apartments with double beds in a separate bedroom, with a kitchen/living room with a double-size sofa and private shower/toilet. That's about as extravagant as staying in a hostel will ever get. ;-)

All our rooms come with comfy wooden beds, private shower and toilet facilities plus lockers for your belongings. You'll get a free set of bed linen, a free welcome drink, free Wi-Fi (in the lobby), a guest kitchen for free use and our free self-made city map with all essential information about the going-ons in town.
We offer an all-you-can-eat breakfast, our lively womBAR serves cheap drinks and food, there's internet terminals, laundromats, 24 hours reception service and 'of course' no age limit, no curfew, no lockout and no stupid rules.

Wombats is not dirt cheap:
You may find an even cheaper place to crash in town, but none where you get more value for your money.

From Alexanderplatz:
Take the underground line 2 (direction Pankow) and get off after the first stop (Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz).
Take the exit in direction of train and turn left.
Wombats City Hostel Berlin is located right around the corner at Alte Schoenhauser Strasse number 2.
From Hauptbahnhof (Central Station):
In front of Hauptbahnhof, you will find the stop for bus 142. Buy a ticket directly from the driver and ride bus142 in the direction of Ostbahnhof for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop 'Rosa Luxemburg Platz'. Exit here and walk back approximately 150 meters in the opposite direction the bus was driving. You are now standing in front of wombat's City Hostel Berlin!
From Tegel Airport:
Take the Express bus 'TXL' to Alexanderplatz. At Alexanderplatz change to the U2 line going in the direction of Pankow. Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz (first stop). Leave the station through the exit 'Torstrasse' and follow Torstrasse to the left. After a few steps you'll be standing in front of wombat's City Hostel Berlin.
From Schoenefeld Airport:
Take the Airport express train (approx. every 30min.) from Schoenefeld train/S-Bahn station. Get off at Alexanderplatz and change to the U2 line going in the direction of Pankow. Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz (first stop). Leave the station through the exit 'Torstrasse' and follow Torstrasse to the left. After a few steps you'll stand in front of Wombats City Hostel Berlin.
From Ostbahnhof:
Take the S-Bahn line, marked by a white 'S' in a green circle. Get on the westbound train to Alexanderplatz. At Alexanderplatz change to the U2 line going in the direction of Pankow. Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz (first stop). Leave the station through the exit 'Torstrasse' and follow Torstrasse to the left. After a few steps you stand in front of Wombats City Hostel Berlin.
From ZOB (Central Bus Station):
