A very warm Welcome to \'cityherberge\', the only and unique ho(s)tel in the very centre of the old town of Dresden. While the building may not look spectacular you will enjoy a spectacularly friendly 24/7 service, neat and spacey rooms, no matter whether you chose a comfort room or prefer accommodation at hostel level, great food and rates which are easy on your purse. We are a bit crazy about making our guests\' stay something to talk about which may explain why you will meet tourists here and business people as well, students and senior citizens, families, soccer teams and symphony orchestras. We would love to have you here!

Arrival by train:
Central station: Ca. 15 minutes walk to the Herberge. Along the St. Petersburger Strasse, across the traffic lights Bürgerwiese, at the right a free place (with skater course) is visible. Go on to the Herberge across the place.
Alternatively with tram lines 3 (direction Wilder Mann), 5 (direction Ãœbigau) or 7 (direction Weixdorf) as far as stop Pirnaischer Platz. Through the underpass to the other side of the street. Then along the St. Petersburger Strasse past the office building, after the music pub 'Motown' left the way to the rear you get directly to the Herberge.
Station Dresden-Neustadt: With tram line 3 (direction Coschütz) as far as stop Pirnaischer Platz. Further see description Central station.
• Arrival by plane:
Airport-City-Liner: From the airport a shuttle runs in the direction of city center (is, however, more expensive than local traffic). Nearest located to the Herberge is the stop 'Walpurgisstrasse'. From there about 5 minutes` walk to the Herberge.
• Arrival by car:
Motorway A4 in direction from Berlin: Exit Dresden-Hellerau, then to B170/E55 in direction of city center. Forward on the B170 via railway station Neustadt, Albertplatz, Carolabrücke and Pirnaischer Platz. At Pirnaischer Platz turn left into Grunaer Strasse and then the very first drive to the right ( Blüherstrasse ). Behind the Dorint hotel the first or second drive to the right. From there directional signs will lead you directly to the Herberge.
Motorway A4 in direction from Chemnitz: Exit Dresden -Altstadt, then on to the B6 (Meissner Landstraße) in direction of the city-center. Straight forward to the Hamburger Strasse. Stay on the Hamburger Strasse (B6 branches off as Bremer Strasse - do not drive in), straight forward via Schäferstrasse, Schweriner Strasse, Wilsdruffer Strasse to Pirnaischer Platz. At Pirnaischer Platz straight on to Grunaer Strasse and take the very first drive to the right (Blüherstrasse). Behind the Dorint hotel the first or second drive to the right. From there directional signs will lead you directly to the Herberge.
