Denali National Park is the main attraction in the area. Activities in the Park include wildlife viewing, hiking, and camping. Mount McKinley is visible within the Park boundary when visibility allows. Other activities in the area include hiking, white water rafting, ATV rides, horseback riding, flightseeing tours, and golf.
Park's Edge is eight miles north of the entrance to Denali National Park. The views from the cabins have Mount Healy in the foreground, which is inside the Park boundary. The accommodations provide an opportunity for visitors to experience the feel of an Alaska log cabin without sacrificing comfort. The cabins are affordably priced for singles, couples, and groups. Each cabin has a private bathroom. There is a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in all of the cabins. Locally brewed coffee and a selection of tea is provided. Some cabins have grills with dishes, flatware, and pans provided.
Reservations may be changed or canceled without penalty up to 14 days prior to the first night of the scheduled stay. Reservations changed or canceled within the 14-day period are subject to a fee equal to half of the total amount of the reserved stay.
Turn off the George Parks Highway (AK #3) on Otto Lake Road at Milepost 247. The Denali Park Hotel is at this intersection. Once on Otto Lake Road, turn right on HIltop Lane. The Black Diamond Golf Course clubhouse and restaurant are at this intersection. Park's Edge will be on the right hand side about 0.5 miles down Hilltop Lane.
