Leave behind the normality of your everyday life and journey to a place of healing and discovery. Since 1982, our annual retreat at Mt. Shasta has provided a getaway for individuals and families. Spend 5 days in peaceful meadows, along a clear babbling river where you can cool off in the heat of the day. Bask in the energy of nature and realize the renewal of your soul. Learn to connect with the spirit of the mountain and recognize the power of the place. This is an annual event for many people, who return year after year to experience the wonder of Mt. Shasta with a warm community of individuals from all walks of life.
Mt. Shasta has been revered for thousands of years as a healing and sacred mountain. Native tribes from far and wide have honored this place and recognized it as a region of peace. Come and absorb the tranquility and bring this sense of peace and harmony back into your everyday life.
The retreat is held at a beautiful campground on the lower slopes of the mountain. Manicured lawns and trees create a relaxing setting by day and by night, the star-filled sky is awe-inspiring. Our cooks prepare fresh vegetarian meals and many dishes are prepared on wood-burning stoves, bringing alive the various flavors of each recipe.

In the morning, awaken to the sun rolling over the nearby ridge top, lighting up the slopes of the mountain. Sit around a warm fire, awaiting a delicious meal. Walk to the flower-filled meadow, where we meet in a circle, and enjoy the serenity of the land.

After lunch, sit in the shade of pine tress or soak in the river and let go of your mind's chatter. Join in the circle again to listen to Brant Secunda's teachings and explore ancient spiritual practices to connect with the land and Mt. Shasta.

Find interesting and meaningful conversation at the dinner table and enjoy a plentiful meal. Listen to the ancient chants, as Brant leads the evening ceremony. Finally, go to sleep at night with a sense of wholeness, knowing that you have done something good for yourself, your friends and family and the world. Become aware of the energy flowing through nature.

As the sun passes behind the mountain, celebrate in ceremony led by Brant and take the time to watch the warm colors of sunset burst forth. Quiet your mind and become aware of the beauty all around.
