Flying Dog is a backpackeri s hostel in the heart of Miraflores, Lima. (the main tourist centre of Lima).
We offer you a pleasant stay in our small, warm, clean, secure and cheap hostel. Where you will not only find an excellent service, but also a very friendly environment.
We offer travel advice, information, what to see, how much to pay, where to go... in Lima, Peru and South America.
English and Spanish spoken (Italian and Portuguese understood!) and of course, all this is offered with a smile. We also offer hot water 24 hours a day, cable T.V., book exchange, a secure place to keep valuables, cooking facilities, filtered water, free local telephone calls and if this isn\'t enough, discount in many of the restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours, and artisan markets, close by.
In just a few steps you will find the best restaurants, discotheques, shopping malls, cinemas, handicrafts, art galleries, and the best cultural and nightlife in Lima . We are just one block away from public transportation to all parts of Lima: downtown Lima, Museums and to Barranco, our Bohemian zone...!!! Heeey....!!!!
And if that isn\'t enough, we are just a few blocks from the beach...!!!!!
The best way to get from the airport is to arrange a transfer with us. We have our own van to pick our guests up! (at a small fee)
If you want to get to us on your own, take a safe cab from the airport and tell them to bring you to the Flying Dog Hostel in the Kennedy Park of Miraflores. That park should be known by everyone.
Or if not you can take the super shuttle service. Ask for them after the baggage claim.
To go by bus, there are two options:
1.- Take any bus going to the Benavides Avenue direction, or the Diagonal Street. (there's one called 'S')
2.- Take one bus to Javier Prado Av. and Arequipa Av. get down and the go to the bus stop in Arequipa av. and take another bus to the Kennedy Park.
Our three hostels are around the park. You won't get lost.
