Parador Raices is a lodge built in the middle of Ongamira Valley (Córdoba, Argentina), and intended to be a central point for exploring nature and comechingones indigenous culture surroundings. Ongamira is a comechingon word that means 'The Power of everything created' and guests will testify this meaning by doing trekking, horse riding or just contemplating landscapes.
Currently Ongamira Valley is home to an extensive variety of plants and animals, many of which are native to the area. The condor is one of the native animals that can be seen today at its natural habitat.
Parador Raices affords an excellent view of the Charalqueta hill which used to represent a comechingon female god 'The Happinness God'.
