Catch a ferry over to the Royal National Park and discover Aboriginal carvings, secluded beaches and waterfalls; and for bushwalkers hike either the 26km coastal walk, optionally staying at Garie Beach YHA midway.
Learn to dive at Sydney\\\'s best diving spots. Kayak the Port Hacking river, and access the national park. At night walk to restaurants, pubs and night-clubs.

Casual work is available locally - we actively source jobs for our guests. Many travellers use us as a base to save to fund their journeys. Due to our size we are more personalised than the bigger factory hostels of downtown.
Show your YHA/Hostelling International Membership when checking in, or join YHA on arrival, and receive a discount of at least 10%.
Wake Up! Sydney Central is at 509 Pitt Street, corner of Pitt and George Streets Sydney. It's directly opposite Central Railway Station - the major transport hub for airport links, interstate coaches and local buses and trains.
From Sydney Airport - catch a KST Shuttle bus from outside the arrivals gate - cost is $14 and they will drop you right at our front door. Alternatively you can catch a train to Central Station and walk across the road to Wakeup! The cost is $14. You can also catch a taxi which will cost between $25 and $30.
From Central Station/Bus Terminal just walk across the road on Pitt Street and you will find us.
Wake Up! is also an easy walk to major tourist hot spots - Darling Harbour, Chinatown, CBD, museums, galleries, Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the historical Rocks.
