Alverna House is a gorgeous contemporary roomy family home located in the suburbs of Athlone Town on the border of Roscommon and Westmeath.
Facilities in the Alverna House include full disabled access/facilities with spacious guestrooms. All our rooms are ensuite and are equipped with multi-channel TV & Tea/Coffee making facilities.
For our younger guests, we provide a TV & games room with full sized pool table.
Spacious dining room. Garden & off road parking available.
Local amenities include Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone Golf Club, Lough Ree with boating facilities, Bars & Restaurants, shops, R.C. Church, GAA Club, Golfing range.
The rooms displayed here can accommodate an extra person for an additional charge and the family room has two double beds.
Check in 3.30pm and check out 12pm.
Breakfast is included in the price.

Cancellation policy is 48hrs.

Directions from the Railway/Bus Station:
(Probably best to contact us to arrange a transfer or take a taxi)
1. Head east on Southern Station Rd. toward town centre.
2. Take the 1st left onto Longford/Ballymahon Road.
3. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout.
4. Take first exit heading towards Galway (N6)
5. Almost immediately take first right onto slip road for the Athlone Bypass Road.
6. Continue on and exit at Junction 12 (Roscommon exit)
7. Turn left at the end of the slip road onto the Roscommon Rd/N61.
Go straight through 1 roundabout..
Continue to follow N61 for approx 5 miles.
Alverna House will be on the right (After Dalys Tavern which is on the left)
