Located in a lovely Villa & Garden, Boho Hostel offers the perfect escape from the city's main busy central strip, while still being only ten minutes away on foot from it.
Whilst ticking all the hostel boxes- Inexpensive, Sociable, Communal- Boho is set in a beautifully-renovated Villa, which is what makes it so unique in Malta.
Blessed with a large garden and courtyard, and that ever-constant Maltese sunshine, Boho is simply a pleasure to wake up in and a lovely home-away-from-home to retreat to. What's more, it's a great base to meet other travellers to explore the island with. Fancy a Spring Garden BBQ with other backpackers like yourself? Throw in a couple of beers and a few card games and you're guaranteed a lovely evening.
To ensure that you have a fantastic time in Malta, Boho's English-speaking staff will happily provide you with maps, information and tips on where to go.
Being backpackers ourselves, and having stayed in dozens of hostels all over, we know that a friendly face is important to make your stay memorable, so we will help you out with anything you need- whether it's simply printing out your boarding pass or planning a diving trip. The Boho staff are also BIG on adding that Maltese touch to your holiday….and, being locals, we know where the good stuff really is!

So you have landed on Malta. Welcome! Now, lets get cracking on the beginning of your journey.
If you're coming by Bus-
OPTION 1: a direct bus which will stop you ten minutes on foot away from Boho.
Catch bus X2 from Airport and stop in front of the Balluta Bay Church, St Julians.
Once you're looking at the Church you want to walk to your right. Take the uphill behind the small piazza, with BOV (Bank of Valletta) to your left, and open fields to your right.
At the top of the hill (you'll see Corks Bar) take a right and keep walking straight on Birkirkara Street until you see a petrol station on the left hand side of the street (about 5 mins walk). Now, take the uphill between the petrol station and the grocery (Klarissi street) until you reach the very top and there stick to your left (Avoid the main road!) and you'll find G.Xerri Street.
Look up. See a windmill? Welcome to Villa Cycas.
OPTION 2:
A connecting bus which will stop you just a few minutes away from hostel.
From the airport catch X4 / X5 or X7 to Valletta then the connecting bus 22 to St Julians. Stop at the 'Romero' Stop, just before the Independent Newspaper offices.
Once there, take the stairs to your left and take a right once you reach the top. Keep walking until you can take a small left uphill. Once at the top keep walking up to your right until you see the main road. Now, be careful and simply stick to your left, where you'll see a little street called Dun Guzeppi Xerri. Boho is the Villa with a windmill.
If you're coming by Car-
Once you leave the airport follow signs leading to Valletta until you reach those that take you directly to St Julians.
Once on the St Julians main - Highway Road- Triq Regionali (Regional Road), pass the roundabout and keep on going until you see a sign that reads, 'Sliema, San Gwann, Ta Giorni.' Take this street down and then take your first left, with the sign reading 'Msida.' Now, once you're at the top and driving along the rest of Regional Road, take your first left- be careful as it's a Sharp Left. You're now in G. Xerri Street and you'll find Villa Cycas thanks to the Windmill in the garden.
If you are coming by Cab-
Tell the taxi driver that Villa Cycas is located in a small left-hand inlet on Regional Road in ST Julians- between the tunnels and Zammit Clapp hospital. It's parallel to Sacred Heart Convent.
Again, to spot the Villa straight away, just look out for orange house with a windmill.
(Book your taxi through Cycas and get it for just 18euros from airport. You can also opt to book the airport transfer in advance(maltatransfer.com)- prices start from 7 euros)

Directions
So you have landed on Malta. Welcome! Now, lets get cracking on the beginning of your journey.
