Hostal 8 Venado is a charmingly simple, inexpensive and greatly located hostel. It is two blocks away from the surfing beach at the beautiful, hip and southern part of town called 'La Punta'. We offer 3 rooms with one double bed each and a balcony, 2 rooms with a double bed and a single bed. All of them with, ceiling fan, private bathroom and shower. We also have a dorm for those who want to spend less and don�t mind sharing.
Hostal 8 venado has WiFi, a Kitchen and a gorgeous roof terrace to make your stay in Puerto Escondido amazingly enjoyable!
We offer special prices per week, month or for groups.
Check in and check out are at 1:00 pm. Be sure to contact us regarding your arrival time.

From the 'Terminal turiÂstica' bus station:you can take a taxi to 'La Punta', they should charge between - pesos. You can also take a public transportation or â 'Colectivo'Â: ask where the market is (3 blocks away) and in 3 norte street you can catch a 'colectivo that says 'Zicatela' and you get of at Justo Salvador street. On your left you'll see miscelanea RubiÂ, you walk 10 mts. and you will find us on your left. You can also take any colectivo that goes to Colotepec, La Barra, El Tomatal and get off on the highway at the Miscelanea Ruby's, you walk 4 blocks until you get to Justo Salvador street.
From the OCC bus station: You can take a taxi to 'La Punta', they should charge between 30 and 35 pesos. You can also cross the street and catch a 'colectivo that says 'Zicatela', you get of at Justo Salvador street, and on your left you'll see miscelanea RubÃÂ, you walk 10 mts. and you will find us on your left. You can also take any colectivo that goes to Colotepec, La Barra, El Tomatal and get off on the highway at the Miscelanea Ruby's, you walk 4 blocks until you get to Justo Salvador street.
From the airport: take a colective taxi and tell them you're going to La Punta or if you're not carring a lot of luggage walk to the highway outside of the airport and take a taxi (it'll be much cheaper than in the airport)
