The city of Andarai is 450 km from Salvador, Bahia, to get there are two possibilities:
By Bus: Traffic leaving the White Eagle Bus Station of Salvador at 7:30 and 20:30 (Mon Wed Fri)
By car: Leaving Salvador-BA followed by BR-324 until Feira de Santana (105 km), then the BR-116 South towards Rio de Janeiro to the Entrance to the BR-242 (35 km). In the BR-242 Itaberaba sense, Brasilia is 260 km to the junction of AndaraÃÂ. Entering the intersection is 50 km more to reach the Chapada Diamantina - Andarai.
Don'anna is in the center of the city, you can find it easely.
The whole region was explored in the past by miners in the extraction of diamonds since the time of the Portuguese crown in Brazil.
