Directions
PLEASE DISREGARD THE HOSTELWORLD MAP. IT SHOWS THE INCORRECT LOCATION. PLEASE SEE OUR WEBSITE FOR THE CORRECT MAP.
From the airport: a taxi will know how to get here and should charge no more than $10US. Let us know your arrival time one day ahead and we'll pick you up.
Driving from Antigua: Take the periferico all the way to the first exit south off calle Martàonto the 6a Avenida (aka Simen Cazas). You'll notice a big park. Turn right before the La Torre supermarket. Go two blocks. Turn left. Go straight two blocks. We're on the right before the twist in the road.
Driving from Coban or Rio Dulce: stay on the highway which becomes calle martaÂ. You'll pass a McDonalds, then five blocks later a pedestrian crosswalk bridge. Get in the left lane before the crosswalk bridge. After the bridge, there's a left-turn light. Turn left and go south onto 6a Avenida (aka Simen Cazas). You'll notice a big park. Turn right before the La Torre supermarket. Go two blocks, then left. Go two blocks and we're on the right.
Driving from El Salvador: stay on the highway until you go under the Obelisco. Turn north (right) on 7a avenida. You will only need to turn off 7a avenida once you're in zone 2, but 7a avenida has a few twists to it. The first will be when you get to the civic center. You must go around a fountain and then take the street to the right of the Burger King. The next big landmark is the central plaza. Common sense will guide you through that twist. When you pass a shell gas station on the right, count two blocks. Turn left before the 'Tienda Israelita'. That's 2a calle. Go three blocks. You can park before the street dead-ends. We're just off to the right.
We'll soon have a TransMetro stop a few blocks away. That's still under construction, though.
