One Love Island is not only an environmentally friendly tourist destination, but it is also a once in a lifetime experience. Visitors are welcomed to the island, a backpacker's paradise, for a small fee. The camp promises a truly unparalleled experience of the island in its element. Enjoy a relaxed holiday in a stunning natural environment, and find true relaxation overlooking a tranquil bay on a quiet, undeveloped island with magnificent stretch of coastline. With only a few huts and accessible only by boat, you're guaranteed a very peaceful and memorable experience well away from the masses' relax, enjoy yourself and allow the magic to happen around you!

Our Guests may choose from a variety of accommodation including secluded canopy, makuti-roofed banda (typical Swahili wooden hut), tree house or you can bring a tent and camp on the beach. We provide comfortable mattresses, bed sheets and mosquito nets for free!
During your stay you will enjoy first class food meals are always fresh, the food is prepared and cooked on the island, we only use fresh ingredients and seafood caught by our fishermen! We also offer fresh fruits and other local delights. Our food is generally cooked with coconut (typical Swahili food), but can be prepared whatever way our visitors prefer - we like to look for new flavors. Welcome!

You can spend the day exploring the island and its beauty. Every day the ocean's high and low tides play with the island's shoreline, create new creeks, and ensure day-to-day explorations are always unique. One Love Island is a sand island with mangrove forests, pristine beaches that are covered with a variety of beautiful shells, and many species of animals - birds, crabs and other unique sea life. There are many activities available in addition to exploring the island, such as swimming, snorkeling, canoe tours, coast walks, fishing trips, sunset sailing, mangrove forest tours, mangrove reforestation, relaxing, bird watching And much much more!

As the evening sets, sit around a bonfire whilst swapping stories with fellow travelers, have a beer, take part in a drum circle, or just enjoy the silence and the starry sky.

Among others we are specialized in serving NGO volunteers, abroad students and backpackers. Proceeds from your stay directly benefit our community, as One Love Island is a community run project focused on community development and environmental restoration. While you visit, you help. We also encourage each visitor to help us reforest mangroves (and preserve the endangered species that live within the mangrove forests), and plant 10 mangroves during your stay with us. This way we can share the beauty of One Love Island with the world, and use the proceeds to maintain and protect our land and people. One Love for All!
