Directions
There's 3 options to come from the airport to the city:
1- Bus called Aerobus: It's the most expensive, it costs 5,60 euros, and it departs from the airport and goes direct to the city center, without stopping in the way.... The end of the line is on the central square of the city, called Plaza Catalunya, and from there you have to take the subway.... In Plaza Catalunya is the red line subway, but you need to reach the yellow line, so take the red line in Plaza Catalunya, and change to the yellow line in the station called Urquinaona (It's only one stop from Catalunya), and when you're in the yellow line you have to go to the stop called Barceloneta (2 stops from Urquinaona).... I will wait for you outside the subway stop.... If you take the Aerobus, you will be inPlaza Catalunya in 30 minutes, and then another 15 minutes with the subway, so supossing your flight arrives on time, calculate 25-30 minutes to take the Aerobus (leave the plane, take your lugagge, go to the bus, take the bus), so you will be in Barceloneta (your final stop) around 1:30 hs after your plane landed..i
2- Train: It costs around 3 euros, but the problem is that there's not a good frequency of trains departing, so maybe you're lucky and only wait 5 minutes for the train, but if you're unlucky and the last train just departed 5 minutes before you arrive, maybe you have to wait for the next one for 40 minutes..... If you choose this option, your stop will be Sants Station (the main train station in the city), and then you have to take the subway.... In Sants Station you take the blue line of the subway, and in Verdaguer Station (4 stops from Sants Station), you switch to the yellow line,i and when you're in the yellow line you have to go to the stop calledi Barcelonetai (5 stops fromi Verdaguer)....
3- Regular Bus: It costs 2 euros, and is almost the same than the train.... The bus number from the airport is Bus ni 47, but the situation is the same than in the train, you never know how long you have to wait for it, and it's worst with this bus, because once you have catched it, the way to the center is really long (about 1 hour or more).... If you catch this bus, you have to leave the bus in Plaza Catalunya, and from there, the same indications than option number 1.... .
so these are the 3 options, we recommend the number 1, It's a little bit more expensive, but you gain a lot of time, because these buses departs every 5 minutes.....
ciao, and see you soon....
