Our own family vacation house has 6 rooms available for renting. Each 3 rooms share a batthroom. There are 2 living rooms each with a fireplace, a dining room, music area with instuments, our own chapel, a fully equipped kitchen, a traditional kitchen with bread oven, a laundry room and a garage with table football and bicycles.
Outside we have a swimming pool a small kitchen, 2 barbecues, chill out area, camping area with a fire circle, an ecologic toilet, a chicken house, a kennel for your pets, water tank, food garden and parking place.
We also offer the possibility to camp by the circle of fire or park your caravan. Breakfast is included and the kitchen is at our guest`s disposal.
Our unusual house in the middle of the mountains was specially built to spend great holidays with the ones that we love. A place to forget your routine and to reconnect with nature and traditions.
By car from Porto:
Take A4 highway direction Vila real.
When the highway ends (50 km) follow the IP4 direction Vila real.
After more or less 30 km exit right when you see the sign 'Campeã/mondim de Basto'.
When you reach the cross, follow the direction Boavista, that is the road directly in front.
After 2 km pay attention on your right to a gate with the sign saying Eco-Hostel.

Take the IP4 direction Porto and 13 km after exit right when you see the sign Campeã/ Mondim de basto.
When you reach the crossing, take the road on your left direction Boavista.
After 2 km pay attention on your right to a gate with the sign saying Eco-Hostel. You´re here!
By bus:
The 2 main companies that drive from around the country to Vila Real: Redeexpresso, Rodonorte
With Rodonorte you have direct busses from Porto everyday at 10:00, 14:30, 18:00 and 18:30. Then you have other busses almost every hour and a half, some make a stop in Amarante. The bus takes 1 hour and a 30 minutes to reach Vila Real and it costs 9 euros, cheaper with student card.
We can arrange to pick you up at Vila Real or you can take the bus that leaves from Vila Real station and drops you of at Boavista right in front of our house. Its only 2 times a day: 11:00 or 18:30 and it costs 2,40 euros .
Let us know what your plans are we make regular trips between Porto and Vila Real. So we might be able to give you a lift and save you some time and money. If you wish to be picked up at the airport, we can arrange it too, with advanced planning...
