U-RIN-AN is the first old folk house guest house in Okayama region. The house is a traditional Japanese wooden structured building that boasts a history of 100 years. It is conveniently located in the famous Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, and is very close to Ohara Museum of Art. Only 10 min walk from JR Kurashiki Station, free Wifi available.
The hotel is a 2-story building. There are 5 Japanese style guestrooms. The rooms are of different sizes. The smallest room is for 1 to 3 guests, and the biggest room is for up to 5 guests. A private room for female guests is available, and it is very popular with women. Kitchen, bathroom and toilet room are shared.
The big room Kurumaza is a multipurpose room for meeting, concerts, and all kinds of events. It can hold up to 20 people. Many events are held in this room and the office room to entertain our guests.

Take the JR Nozomi Shinkansen from JR Tokyo station to JR Okayama Station, 206min.

You can also take the overnight sleeper train Sunrise Izumo from JR Tokyo station to JR Kurashiki Station. It takes about 8 hours 45min.,
From Osaka or Kyoto:
Take the JR Nozomi Shinkansen from JR Shin-osaka station or JR Kyoto Station to JR Okayama Station, about 1 hour.
Transfer to Yakumo express train or rapid liner and go from JR Okayama to JR Kurashiki, 11min.
You can also take a special rapid train on Tokaido-sanyo line to go from JR Osaka Station or JR Kyoto Station to JR Himeji Statio. Switch to JR San-yo line at Himeiji Station and go to JR Kurashiki Station, 104min.

Fly to Okayama Airport, take the limousine bus bound for JR Okayama Station. The bus fare is 740yen., and it is a 30 min ride. From Okayama Stationm, take the JR San-Yo Line rapid liner to Kurashiki station. It takes about 12 min.
From JR Kurashiki Station:
Get out the south exit, and walk on the side of a department store. Get down the stairs on the left and turn right. Turn left at the end of the street, and walk into a shopping street. When you come to a cross road, turn right and walk towards Bikan Historical Quarter direction. Keep on walking straight until you see a post office on the left side of the street. We are right next to the post office. It is a 12 min walk from the station to our hotel. If you take a taxi from the station, it takes only 4 min, and cost about 740 yen.
