Welcome to La Posada Chetumal Hostel and enjoy the best place for the backpacker community. We are a friendly hostel offering cheap, clean and comfortable accommodation in a safe and quiet avenue of the beautiful City of Chetumal.
La Posada Chetumal Hostel welcomes travelers from all over the world. Our guests can read and relaxing in our living room with comfy sofas, cable TV, free Wi-Fi access, book exchange area, or in our balcony, patio with hammocks and in our large terrace with Yoga Mats.
We have also a large kitchen for guests, showers with hot water, laundry service, and towels rental.
La Posada Chetumal Hostel has six dorm types available: Female 6 beds with bathroom, security lockers.
Male 6 beds/ensuite with security lockers. Mix 10 beds/ensuite and security lockers and also private rooms all of them with ceiling fan. Bed sheets and linen are provided.
We speak English and French.

You can reach the city of Chetumal by plane, by bus, or from Belize (by taxi, bus, or water jet).
After you arrive to Chetumal City, to get to La Posada Chetumal Hostel, you can take:
1) a safe taxi from the airport for about $ 150.00 pesos for 1 to 4 persons. It takes 5 minutes. A safe taxi from the bus station (ADO) for about $ 50.00 pesos for 1 to 4 persons. It takes 10 minutes.
You can take a safe taxi from the border of Belize for about $ 70.00 pesos for 1 to 4 persons. It takes 15 minutes.
You can get a safe taxi from the water jet station (from San Pedro, Belize) for about $ 50 pesos for 1 to 4 persons. It takes 10 minutes.
2) From the airport:
get to the first busy street which is the Calle Revolucion, there you turn left to the traffic lights, where you turn right on Via Roma, continuing until you reach a small roundabout and take the Ave.
Venustiano Carranza, continuing up to the street where you turn in Calle Palermo and turn.
