The Oasis Surf Camp located in the Estero beach, Santa Catalina province of Veraguas in Panama, is the only guesthouse in front of the beach that provides a comfortable and relaxing family atmosphere where you can enjoy your stay without going anywhere.
A very familiar resort which offers restaurant, comfortable private rooms (with a/c and hot water), a luxury star suite, free wi-fi, surf boards rental and surf lessons.
All the rooms have fans (air conditioning is optional for $10 or $15), private bathrooms with hot water. The capacity of the room is from 1 person up to 6. Rooms come fully equipped with sheets, towels, toilet paper and soaps.
We have just inaugurated a Star suite luxuriously equipped with everything you need. Two rooms, living room with sofa bed, dining room, luxuriously equipped kitchen, private bathroom with hot water and blower, satellite tv, dvd, private balcony with view to the sea and park. Can host up to 5 people.
You can get with your car to the hotel: there are parking spaces available, there are free wiifi and there is satellite tv in the restaurant area.
The Surf camp offers discount to retiree. Our hotel has a restaurant that offers Italian and international cuisine, served from breakfast to dinner with affordable prices for customers. Also within its menu has meals for vegetarians.
You should bear in mind that Santa Catalina has no bank or ATM, it is for this reason that our hotel account with payment by credit or debit cards (Visa, Master Card, Diner or Plus).

From the city of Panama are about 367 km, approximately 5 or 6 hours.
By bus from the bus terminal in Albrook there are two options:
you can go direct to Sona or take a bus that goes to Santiago and then take another bus that comes up to Sona. In Sona, the last bus leaves at 16:00 hrs toward Santa Catalina. If you have lost the last bus, you can take a taxi to bring you direct to Santa Catalina, it costs approximately $40 (depending on the season).
By car:
you must take Interamerican highway to Santiago, Veraguas.
Once you arrive to Santiago must venture to the central located back of the church and take road to Sona. Once in Sona, after the petrol station Delta the first street to left hand turn to follow the road to Santa Catalina. After approximately 45 minutes you will find the sign that tells you the street which takes you direct to Santa Catalina. The last village before reaching Santa Catalina is the village of Ikako.
Once in Santa Catalina, take the first road on your left hand side and continue straight toward the Estero beach.
