Hostal Casa del Sol is located in an area called La Punta. It is a 5 minute walk from the town, north on the beach. It is a little community of 6 hotels, 3 restaurants, and a Brewing Company. It is right in front of the point break that has made Montanita famous. Always chill and tranquil, the party stays in town so you can get a good nights sleep!

All the rooms face a center courtyard, and have shared balconies with hammocks. There is another lounge with couches and a book exchange to chill out it after a day of sun and surf.

All rooms have private bathrooms with hot water. All of our single rooms have a double bed and our double rooms have a queen bed and a single bed. We also have 2 dorm rooms with 4 single beds in each.

From town, you can walk north on the beach towards the Point. Close to the end you will see a sign for the Montanita Brewing Company. We are located right behind there.

As well, you can jump in a taxi for $1.50 USD and get dropped off at our front door.

From the airport in Guayaquil, we can arrange a private taxi transport for $90 USD. Or you jump of the direct bus (company CLP) that leaves from Terminal Terrestre located near the airport for $5.75 USD. The last bus leaves at 4:30pm.
