Loch Ness with it's well-known but elusive Monster is only Ten minutes away by car.There is a good value boat trip from Inverness to Urquhart Castle sailing partly through the Caledonian Canal and North end of Loch Ness
From Inverness Harbour there are boat trips into the the Moray Firth to see the resident Bottlenose Dolphins.
Isle of Skye can be a day trip from Inverness by Train and Bus.
There are 28 Golf Courses within an hour's drive from Inverness including the Championship Courses of Royal Dornoch and Nairn Links.Also some very good more economically priced courses!!
Hillwalking and low level walks are within easy reach.

St Ann's was built in 1880 for the then Inverness PostMaster.
There are six bedrooms ( all non-smoking), Guest Lounge
( where smoking is allowed )and Breakfast Lounge ( non-smoking)which has a Conservatory extension leading out to well admired and quiet rear gardens.
There is ONE Single Bedroom with Private Bathroom which is NOT en-suite but just outside room ( bath/shower, wc, whb)
