There are several beautiful mountain lakes close by where you can swim, sun bathe, walk or picnic, and the Mediterranean coast is just under 1 hour drive from Chez Providence.

Just 25 minutes drive is the magnificent Medieval City of Carcassonne a UNESCO world heritage site along with the Canal du Midi. Films and books such as 'The Labyrinth', have been based on the area of Carcassonne and the Languedoc. The city offers restaurants, shopping, bars, and nightlife, along with pleasant walks and beautiful lakes and parks.

Return to Chez Providence at the end of the day, in its tranquil surroundings to relax and dine.

We offer 5 B&B rooms and a s/c studio apartment and evening meals (by reservation) in a traditional French village house which dates back to a 12th Century village ramparts now fully modernized but retaining charm and character with exposed beams and exposed stone walls, our comfortable lounge has a huge fireplace and leads to a sunny balcony with a view of the garden, valley, river 'Dure' and surrounding woods. Our sunny garden has sun loungers to relax on and a bbq with tables and chairs.
