Welcome to Alentejo! Here you will admire the natural landscape while cycling through plains covered with cork oak trees. You will definitely travel in time discovering historical sites from prehistory to the renascence, churches, temples and some abandoned places! Évora is the highlight and there you will have plenty of time to admire, visit, smell and taste all the delights of the city. These will be days where you can enjoy the wonders of the region and relax in the swimming pool, ride horses, walk around the typical villages, “invade” palaces and castles, getting the best of the region all the time with your family.

Day 1: Arrival - Welcome at Lisbon Airport
Our Guide picks you up at the airport and drives to the interior of Portugal. Welcome to Alentejo! Your first day is for some relaxation after your arrival. Enjoy your stay at a town center accommodation, that epitomizes the Alentejo culture, with blue and white corridors linking the rooms and patios.

Day 2: Bike Mora to Pavia (25km +250m)
On day one you will start biking from the center of this typical village by narrow streets getting to an old train station. Do not forget to visit it and appreciate the slow and quiet life of the countryside of Portugal. Following the train tracks to the sweet water aquarium, comes the opportunity to discover fantastic sceneries, rivers and lakes! Then make your way to Pavia, the landscape will not disapoint you and the town keeps a traditional architecture and athmosphere.

Day 3: Bike Pavia to Arraiolos (20km +300m)
A little more of our culture is waiting for you today! After cycling through some local farms, you will arrive to Arraiolos, an old Portuguese town, with castles and typical houses, famous for its embroidered wool rugs and carpets made since the Middle Ages, it has some gastronomical delights that will make you very happy. After a nice meal recharge your batteries at a beautiful historical building, an old convent, where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Bike Arraiolos to Évora (27km +250m)
The journey today will take you calmly to Évora, a Unesco World Heritage Site! You will be amazed with the beauty and history of this old town. The outer walls, the Roman Temple, the Cathedral, it is all right around the corner, waiting for your visit. You will stay for the next three nights, so take your time and each day explore a bit of this heritage and capital of the region.

Day 5: Évora Loop to Dolmens (38km +500m)
This day is the most challenging but the most spectacular, since the goal is to visit the pre-historic monuments. It will be possible to visit several historical sites with traces of the presence of Man in the plains of Alentejo since old times. This is a very important area for the scholars of this age of Mankind. Afterwards you will return to the old historic center! Riding in the countryside of Évora trough trails and quiet roads, it is all about enjoying the view. You can also visit a cork-hotel before the end of the day. This sounds fun!

Day 6: Évora Loop (25km +180m)
This day is reserved to see how in the fifteen hundreds the renascence people transported water to the cities. This spectacular ancient aqueduct has some visible structures and the goal for the day is to do a circular ride and follow this water channel system. Nice little trails alongside the aqueduct will be the joy of everyone. This can be the chance of going for some more caches. Returning to Évora it is time to do the last visits since the next day will be a departure to another typical village.

Day 7: Departure - Farewell at Lisbon Airport
Time really goes fast when you are having fun! It is time to say goodbye, but we believe the moments and the memories you built have been all worth it. Our Guide will pick you up and drive you to the airport now.
