The ranch is only 30 minutes from the airport yet you'll feel you've gone back in time . Plow oxen and horse-drawn carts, tortillas cooked on a wood fire and hand-woven rugs are just a sample of the experiences you'll have on this unmatched adventure.
Includes:
Riding: from 2 hours to over 25 hours of riding. 
Pace can be adjusted from relaxed touring to spirited gallops.
Cycling: diverse trails and challenging terrain on well maintained bikes
Hiking: old trails lead into the foothills, allong rock faces with wild flowers and agave. Challengig terrain
Cooking class: prepare traditional mexican lunch at the ranch kitchen with local cook
Crafts tour: visit several villages and speak to local artesanos making rugs, pottery and more
Guides: knowledgeable guides, fluent in English, Spanish and German, will guide you through Oaxaca's culture and nature, all while supporting the bond between you and your horse
Food: All meals.
Transfers: Arrival & departure transfers to and from the ranch from our office in downtown Oaxaca are included. Airport transfer can be arranged at additional cost.

Day 1 - Arrive at the ranch in the afternoon and settle into your room. After a short intoduction to horses and our style of riding head out to a short 2 hr ride to explore the various trails leading through the communual land surrounding the ranch. Back at the ranch relax on the trerrace with yourwelcome coctail followd by a delicious dinner.

Day 2 - swap your horse for a bicycle to discover Oaxaca's fascinating country side! This guided cycling tour will take you through farm land bustling with activity and along magical roads lined with wild cane. you will pass through agricultural villages in the valley and stop to visit ruins, handycraft workshops or mezcal producers depending on the route.

Day 3 - This hike will take you onto the never ending variety of trails and hidden passages which wind their way through the stunning communal lands of the villages in the Tlacolula Valley. Walk underneath rare cacti and over passes as you observe rare copal trees.

Day 4 - Spend the morning relaxing on the ranch or wander arond the village befor joining our local cook to prepare your very own traditional mexican comida complete with mezcal magarita.

Day 5  - back in the saddle spend the morning meandering through the diverse ecosystems of the communal lands surrounding the ranch and explore the lower lying farm lands where you can observe timeless agricultural practices and horse-drawn carts.

Day 6 - Explore a variety of villages in which you will visit craftsmen and women dedicated to crafts like weaving, pottery, woodcarving or embroidery. You will have the unique opportunity to see them work in their workshops and discover traditions passed down through generations.
Transport back to the city in the afternoon.
