1,5 and 1,3 kg graylings from Spring-Winter 2018 (#1/9)
++1 kg perch and the guide Atte (#2/9) Over kilo perches are common to see while sight fishing, but they can be really picky with the lures.
Mountain trout from Norway (#3/9) Sometimes only the smallest nymphs make them bite. Sometimes fast balancer lure is the key.
Pikes can be really large (#4/9) Less than 6 inch holes are useless here. Mostly we fish with 8 inch hole. This pike was 94cm long and got it's freedom back.
Our waters are crystal clear and good to drink. (#5/9) You can see 6 meters down into the lakes. Usually we fish from less than 2 meter deep so the vision to the bottom is clear.
Time for lunch. (#6/9) In the winter snow covers everything, but it is a great advantage for fisherman. Snow makes moving easy with snowmobile and it hides you from the fishes. Early season ice fishing is really difficult until the snow falls.
White fish is hard to catch, but delicious when smoked. (#7/9) Really rare catch. Not our target specie.
Ready, Steady, Go! (#8/9) Big fish spot, 8 inch hole, reindeer pelt with hole on top, few different lures at handy reach and beverage of choice. What else could ice fisher hope for?
At deeper waters a fish finder keeps you ahead of things. (#9/9) Our Executive Guide Atte Ikkala takes care of our gear stock. Just the best and handy to do efficient and fun, entertaining fishing.
