Africa Travel Co is one of the most established overland companies in Africa and is completly African based. We operate a fleet of specially built safari vehicles, throughout southern and east Africa and each year sees us introduce new and innovative itineraries.

We started in 1990 with one office in Harare, Zimabawe, and after 20 yrs of hard work and commitment and with a professional approach, we now have operations and retail offices backed by maintenance centres in Nairobi (Kenya) and Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), while our head office and main workshop are in Cape Town (South Africa). There is no other company that has this level of support in Africa in the overland industry.

We believe our success and growth has been due to the fact that 90% of the people who work with us as road crew, in the office and with the workshop team are African. These are the people of Africa showing you their Africa. Our management team have had years of experience as road crew, and have enjoyed the excitement of life on the road and exploring this magnificent continent.
