A lovely apartment Marmont in heart of town Split - Reviews

Mom and I stayed for only 2 nights, but wish we would have stayed in Split at Apartment Marmont for our entire trip! The 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the second floor was immaculate. Huge, clean, beautifully decorated (we loved the art) with a fully stocked kitchen and a small dining table. Comfortable beds, the building is safe, and the wifi worked great. Beautiful private balcony with a view (we spent both evenings sitting out there, enjoying the city). The best part though - Apartment Marmont is PERFECTLY LOCATED. Everything you could possibly want/need is within walking distance - grocery/pharmacy/banks, restaurants, historic sites, shopping, and the waterfront. Neven (the owner/host) is an absolute gem. Very responsive before we arrived and during our stay. When we arrived in Split (by car), he met us and helped us to park since the apartment is just inside a pedestrian zone. He carried my mom's bags up to the second story unit and showed us on a map where all the best places to visit, shop, and most importantly - to eat or have a drink! All EXCELLENT recommendations. He even left us beer and a bottle of champagne to welcome us. I can't stress enough what a pleasure it was to meet and chat with Neven, he is an absolutely lovely person. If you are looking for an apartment in Split, don't hesitate to book this place. I can't imagine a better place to stay. We had zero complaints, only praise, and are already making plans to visit Neven and Croatia again.

We stayed at the Marmonr apartment in Split for two weeks in September, we hadn’t been to Croatia before and Neven, the owner, was really helpful and really couldn’t have done any more for us. The apartment was in a great location just a few minutes from the promenade, or Riva, and overlooked one of the best restaurants in Split, it was spacious and spotless and we would definitely recommend it. Neven was very accommodating, changing us from the third floor to the first which suited us better, can’t wait to go back.

Neven was a wonderful host and was very welcoming from the start. The apartment is in a great, lively location near lots of restaurants, bars, and shops, and we were given lots of great recommendations of places to eat and visit when we arrived :) The apartment is a good size and very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The balcony was lovely too and gave us somewhere nice to relax over morning coffee.

The apartment was great and it was a pleasure to be hosted by Anela & Neven. The location is perfect near a lot of nice restaurants. Anela was really available for us and gave us a lot of good advices. We will definitely go back to this apartment if we travel again in Split.

Neven was a great host during our stay in Split. Upon our arrival, he gave us a quick snapshot of the city - things to do and see and where to eat. Their apartment is located in a great, hip, central spot in the city. We used it as our base and could easily get back to the apartment when we needed to. The view is also gorgeous from the balcony, the best spot for a pre-dinner drink. Could not recommend more! We will be back

Anela and Neven's apartment was fantastic, it was nice and spacious and in a great location. Neven gave us very good information about places to eat and things to do. He also gave us a complementary beer and bottle of champagne. We'd defiantly stay again!

If we are ever back in Split I would be sure to book this apartment again! Before our arrival we communicated frequently with Neven and he was so helpful! When we arrived the apartment was in great condition! You can tell they thought of every detail and there was a bottle of sparkling waiting for us! Throughout our stay Neven would check on us, offer us suggestions of what to do and Anela even drove us to the airport for our departure. This place truly felt like home and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Split!

We spent 2 weeks in Marmont Apartment in split. The place was central and it was possible to reach all important places like bakery, supermarkets, restaurants by feet very soon. It is inside the old town of split that is the most interesting and beautiful part of Split. The flat we rented was comfortable and has everything you need. The furniture was good and the flat is decorated very lovely. The was a big balcony you can reach from 2 rooms with furniture to sit outside. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you need and more utensils than usual. Everything was clean and during this time the flat was cleaned and towels and sheets were changed 2 times. The owner was amazing. We never met such a nice, helpful and kind owner before. In every situation he gave everything to let us feel welcome and supported to plan trips and gave us helpful advices for good restaurants and places you should see inside and outside of split. We are happy to met such wonderful person and will for sure stay in his apartement again. We can recommend Marmont Apartment in every way. So book and enjoy!

The challenge is to decide which bakery, restaurant and cafe to frequent. They are just steps away! But the real treat close by is Luka gelato and cakes next to the big grocery store, Kozum. Inside the apartment building the feeling is Parisian. High ceilings, french doors and a bidet too. Everything was of course extra clean with extra touches. Original art, good wifi service and fun neighbors. Clothes and dish machines are excellent and very useful to us. We had an extended stay and cook a lot. The landlord couldn't be more responsive to any question. And as a supporter of theatre, he arranged for tickets to Carmen. It was excellent too.
