White Water Rafting | Camp Encijan

Located just a hour of drive from Sarajevo Airport, Camping Encijan is a perfect escape from urban noise. In the very heart of Tara River gorge, Encijan is a perfect place for nature and adventure lovers. Tara River Gorge is a deepest river valley in Europe.
We offer many different adventure trips such as rafting, trekking, hiking or simple chill out at the Camp.
In the proximity of the Encijan, there is a Sutjeska National Park, oldest and largest in Bosnia. Experience exciting jeep photo safaris in the National Park, as weel as visiti to one of the last remaining primeval forest of Europe - Perucica.

Arrival to town of Foča, agency Encijan, between 08:00 and 10:00 hrs. After a short break at our agency, trip continues to Šćepan Polje (border crossing between B&H and Montenegro), where you are going to park your vehicles at secure par-king lot with security service. From this spot, transport is organised by Agency's 4x4 vehicles to the Camp, by 10.30hrs. Drive along Tara canyon in a very pleasant environment. Upon arrival at the Camp, breakfast for all participant (menu: chese, prosciutto, milk cream, hot doughnuts, honey, milk…)
After breakfast and preparations till to 12.00hrs (everyone gets rafting gear, wet suit, boots, life jacket, helmet, paddle) rafting follows along most exciting part of Tara River. Rafting lasts around 3-4 hrs with the breaks for photo safari, swimming, refreshment and visit to coldest Tara's tributary Sipcanica creek. At the end point of rafting, Šćepan Polje, Mouth of rivers Tara and Piva, hot shower awaits for us, and around 15.00hrs, we organize lunch at the local camp restaurant. Menu: roasted lamb or veal, fish- trout… After that arrangement ends and you're ready to go back to your base or next destination.
