Nestled on the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by the tranquil and peaceful countryside, Barrow View Bed and Breakfast, is a comfortable and spacious B&B just outside Mountmellick.

At Barrow View Bed and Breakfast, our three cosy guest rooms enjoy charming country views. All our bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are equipped with televisions and DVD players, hairdryer, tea/coffee-making facilities, radio alarm clock and free Wi-Fi access.

Breakfast is included in the rates and served up in our pleasant dining room. We are happy to prepare picnic lunches or snacks on request. Special dietary requests will happily be taken care of.

Barrow View Bed and Breakfast is located near to the attractions of Mountmellick Museum, Emo Court and round tower and the fabulous ruins of the Rock of Dunamaise. There is a great choice of activities nearby, with the Slieveblooms' ideal for hill-walking and the Barrow River perfect for a spot of angling. Golfers can enjoy the wonderful Killenard Heritage Golf and Country Club. Those wishing to head for the shops will find themselves well placed for the delights of Dublin and Athlone as well as the Kildare Village retail outlet. Car Parking facilities are available at the B&B all year round.

Directions from Dublin to Mountmellick

Take N7 out of Dublin going south for limerick continue down Motorway until junction 15 for Mountmellick/ Portarlington, arrive in Mountmellick go straight through town for Tullamore road N80 first sign for B&B appprox. 1 mile out of Mountmellick town on the left, watch for right turn approx. 200 mtrs. Our B&B is the fourth house on the left after small bridge any problems give me a ring
