Sky Backpackers - The Liffey offers affordable, comfortable and safe backpacker-style accommodation in the centre of Dublin in a unique musical setting.
The hostel is set in a former recording studio (Litton Lane Rehearsal & Recording Studios) and our clients included U2, Van Morrison, Sinead O' Connor, Def Leppard (Hysteria Album), and many more...
You will be staying in one of the most centrally located hostels in Dublin City just around the corner from the river Liffey, the Ha'Penny Bridge, O'Connell Street and a mere 1 minute walk from the Temple Bar Area.
Our aim at Sky Backpackers - The Liffey is to make your stay in Dublin as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, while providing excellent value. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can offer advice and tips to make sure you don't miss any of the good stuff. We have cable TV, games, books and guest computers. We also have DVD nights plus live music as often as we can.
During your stay here you will find a 24-hour reception (No Curfew!!), free International Landline Calls, free Luggage Storage and free WIFI so you can look for work and accommodation online in our comfy common room (The Old Rehearsal Studio). It is a great place to meet fellow travelers.

From the AIRPORT you can take the Aircoach, Airport Express 747,or the 16 & 41 City Bus all of which leave regularly from the Airport and the drop off for passengers is at O'Connell Street. Make your way to O'Connell Bridge and take a right along Bachelors Walk. We are up the second little street on the right called Litton Lane.
From BUSARAS or CONNOLLY STATION just walk along the quays until you see O'Connell Bridge. Directions as above.
From HEUSTON TRAIN STATION take the No.90 bus to O'Connell Bridge. Sky Backpackers - The Liffey is located just to the left up the street (Litton Lane) beside the Arlington Hotel on Bachelors Walk.
You can also take the Luas Tram and get off at Abbey St Lwr and make your way to O'Connell Bridge. Then take a right on to Bachelor's Walk and take the second right on to Litton Lane.
